Moreton Pinkney Antiques & Collectables Auction

just 10% commission and NO LOTTING FEES

Visitor Information

Moreton Pinkney is a small Northamptonshire village in a lovely rural setting between Banbury and Northampton. The village hall is an ideal venue for this monthly auction with plenty of room for viewing, seating and parking.

Each auction offers between 350-450 varied lots of antiques, collectables and furniture for sale. Lots range in price from a minimum bid of £2 up to several hundred pounds with the majority of items we sell falling into the £10 - £50 price range.

We have a wide variety of items for sale at each auction and although we never know what is coming into each sale, the collectables we sell on a regular basis include Moorcroft, Clarice Cliff, Beswick, Royal Doulton, Royal Albert, Murano, clocks, silver items, pocket watches, gold and silver jewellery, medals from WWI, WWII and earlier, coins, stamps, ephemera, militaria, pictures, tools, garden items and furniture.

Viewing is from 4.30 pm - 6.30 pm on the Friday before the sale and from 9 am on the day of the sale. The auction starts at 10.30 am and finishes at around 1.30 pm. Catalogues are available for each auction from 4.30 pm on the Friday evening for just 50p and include estimated prices for each lot. You need to register on your first visit and then just ask for your registered number thereafter. Registration for a bidding card at Moreton Pinkney automatically registers you for our Ashton auction too.

Commission is just 10% of hammer price plus an administration charge of 50p per lot purchased. You can pay and collect your items at any time during the sale - you don't need to stay to the end unless you want to.

Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit card or personal cheque with guarantee card. There is a premium charge for using credit cards but not for any other method of payment.

Don't forget to bring a notebook and pen and some wrapping and a box - even experienced auction goers forget these essential items!

Delivery of large items can be arranged but we do make a small charge for this service to cover our fuel costs and the price depends on how far we have to travel.

Auctions are held on the third Saturday of each month.

We look forward to seeing you at our next auction.
