The beautiful Georgian village of Woburn is well known for large attractions such as Woburn Abbey and Woburn Safari Park. However, it also has a lot to offer to those interested in antiques and collectables.
There are a number of local antiques centres in the village centre, as well as the annual Oyster Festival held in September which incorporates a large antiques flea market.
The Antiques and Collectors' Fair at Woburn has been held in the village hall on the second Sunday of every month for over 20 years and has always had a reputation as a quality antiques fair.
Antiques 2 Go is building on the success of previous organisers to ensure that the fair remains a quality event.
Open from 9.30 am to 4 pm the fair offers a wide variety of antiques and collectables with something for all tastes. There is a good mix of regular stalls and new stalls each month offering antiques, clocks, collectables, jewellery, books, small furniture, silver, militaria, crested ware and much more.
There are excellent refreshments available at the fair from a full English breakfast to home made lemon meringue pie and cakes!
